New cylinder
First time buying? You pay a refundable cylinder deposit plus the gas: $5 for 5kg, $10 for 9kg and $20 for 48kg. You get the deposit back when you return the cylinder in acceptable condition.
Refill or exchange
Already have a Grid cylinder? Swap your empty for a full one and pay only for the gas.

Common questions about our cylinders
What’s the difference between a new cylinder and a refill?
A new cylinder includes a refundable cylinder deposit ($5 for 5kg, $10 for 9kg, $20 for 48kg) plus the cost of the gas. When you refill or exchange, you swap your empty cylinder for a full one and pay only for the gas.
Which cylinder size do I need?
The 5kg is ideal for braais, camping and portable cookers. The 9kg is our most popular home cylinder — it handles daily cooking, space heating and water heating. The 48kg is built for commercial and industrial use. Not sure? Contact us and we’ll help you choose.
How quickly can I get delivery?
We deliver within 24 hours using our own fleet, within our delivery area. Please make sure someone is there to receive the cylinder. You can also choose to collect from our Waterfalls depot at checkout.
How do I return a cylinder or get my deposit back?
Get in touch and we’ll arrange the return. Your deposit is fully refundable when the cylinder is returned in acceptable condition — as a cash refund or credit note.

What payment methods do you accept?
At checkout you can pay by Electronic Bank Transfer (EFT), or choose to pay cash or by card swipe on delivery. Banking details are shown on your order confirmation. Please use your full name and surname as the payment reference.
